Kim has been with McFarling Foods for nearly 9 years, having served previously as buyer for Produce, Seafood, Dairy, Oil, Sugar, Proteins and Hispanic Foods.

Working with our team and giving our customers excellent service.

Yes

What do you find challenging and rewarding about your work?

Increasing our share – it’s not easy to do but when it happens it is a great reward.

Do you have any mentors in your professional life?

Doug Carns, my prior boss of 36 years ago taught me professionalism and the food service industry. He was a very kind and great man.

Family life—married, kids, grandkids?

Married, 1 daughter

My daughter

What’s your favorite food?

Italian

Crafts / Cross Stitch

Do you have any pets?

Yes – Roxy, Sophie, Daisy

Are you a sports fan? Who are your favorite teams?

Whatever football team Dom Capers is coaching this year (family)!

Can you speak more than one language?

Partially – 3 years of French in HS and Italian taught by relatives.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

My happy place … the beach!

How would your friends and family describe you?

Kind, but not a pushover. Boujee and high maintenance.
